Firetex FX6002 intumescent paint
Firetex FX6002 is a new intumescent paint system which gives protection against cellulosic fires up to 120 minutes.
The unique point of this paint is the fast curing and the possibility to apply layers up to 2 mm per spray. Per spray application, therefore, up to 3 times more paint can be applied and the paint itself will cure up to 10 times faster compared to conventional fire paints. This makes it possible to work fast and at a high quality level, something that is impossible to equal with traditional slow-curing paint systems. Risks of water and transport damage with REI 120 protection by intumescent paint are now definitely a thing of the past.
