Bosuil Stadium Antwerp
In the autumn of 2017, the renovated Bosuil stadium in Antwerp was finished. All steel girders on the different floors had to be made fire-resistant on the yard.
Our approach
Aalterpaint ensured quick measurement and characterisation on site of all steel profiles. Next, depending on the type and condition of each primer, a fire-resistant system including primer and top coat was proposed. The painter was provided with a clear overview of all profiles to be coated, including an explication of the right system to be applied and the required layer thicknesses.
Result
Thanks to the perfect cooperation with the painter and the swift action on both sides, the project was quickly and accurately finished, as well as the administrative handling of the file including the provision of all certificates required by the fire service.
